The Big Four: Friendship Is Magic *drabble*

"My Dear Babytooth, There is more to a young girls life thn studying! So I am sending you to supervise the preparations for the Summer Sun Celebration In this years location, a small town by the name of Burgess. And, I have an even more essential task for you to complete:"

Here, the young humanoid dragon leaned over in the flying couch, getting close to the
pouting Princess beside him.

"Make some friends!"

The girl glared at him and buried her face in her arms.

"On come on, Babytooth, Its not that bad!"

The young princess groaned again. She was far from being HAPPY about this.

"Look on the bright side! Your mom arranged for you to stay in a Library! Doesn't that make you happy?"

Babytooth suddenly sat up, nearly knocking the dragon over as she did.
"Yes Toothless, yes it does."
She turned and smirked at him.
"you know why? Because I'm right! I'll check on the preparations as quick as I can, then get to the library to find some proof of Pitch Black's Return!"
Toothless gave her a look.
"But, will you make friends like the queen asked?"

"She said to check on preparations. I am her student and Daughter, and I'll do my
royal duty, but the fate of Berk does not rest on me making friends!"

The coach landed lightly, the two getting off and giving the driving a small 'thank you'
before it took off again. They both turned, taking in the view of the small town. Burgess
wasn't much to look at, it was quiet and nice, rather peaceful.

"Hey look! That guy looks pretty cool, hes got white hair!"
Babytooth turned and looked to the white-haired and blue hoodie clad teen walking towards

them. She snorted. Toothless sighed.
"Just TRY to talk to him? He might have some Interesting to say!"

Babytooth blushed and sighed when said boy stopped in front of them. She took a deep breath and spoke.

"Uhhh....H-Hi?"

He stared at her for a moment in what seemed shock, before gasping loudly and dashing off,
leaving the two standing slightly dumbfounded.
Babytooth growled.
"Well THAT was Interesting all right." she snapped before stalking off. Toothless sighed and followed after her.

This was gonna be a longggggg day.


"where are we heading first, Toothless?"

Toothless sighed again, and pulled out a long piece of parchment paper.
"Lets see, first on the Preparation check list;
1. Banquet Preparations, Sun-Drop Acres."

"A farm?" Babytooth asked. "Wonderful."

The farm  had a very bright and happy feel to it, there were lovely peach trees everywhere, and the barn as well as the house and shed were cover in amazing, and what looked to be, hand painted artworks.

"Just a Little more-"

Babytooth turned to see a young girl with extremely long blonde hair up a latter nearby.
She was wearing a bright pink long sleeved shirt, patterned with a large sun-design across
and the arms rolled half way up, finished with a pair of skinny jeans. She was picking
peach's off a nearby tree. She was smiling brightly, humming under her breath as she worked.
She seemed nice enough, so, taking another deep breath, Babytooth lead the way up to her.

"excuse me Miss? My name Is Princess Babytooth, and I'm here to-"

"Oh! Hello Princess!! My names Rapunzel! Its so nice to meet you!!"
She was suddenly off the latter and standing in front of Babytooth, shaking her hand.
"I'd prefer just Babytooth." Babytooth managed to get out, the girl was shaking her hand
rather fast, it was making Babytooth herself shake.

"of Course, Babytooth!! What can I do for you?" Rapunzel asked brightly. Babytooth noted the girl reminded her of a barbie doll, with that smile and blonde hair.

"I am in fact here to supervise preparations for the Summer Sun Celebration, and As I know, you are in charge of food-"
"I sure as sugar am! Would you care to sample some?"
Babytooth and Toothless glanced at each other, but shrugged.
"Sure, as long as it doesn't take too long..."
"Oh goodie!! Come on!"
Rapunzel took hold of Babytooth's arm and dragged her to a small table.

"Now! Let me show you the Banquet menu!"
"T-thats okay! Really! I really need to get going-"

"So far, we have Cheese Pockets, Cinnamon Twists, Napoleons, Cinnamon Buns, Eclairs
Apple Turnovers, And we have Cakes! We've made them in Chocolate, Carrot, Chocolate Mousse,Strawberry Shortcake, Boston Cream, Oreo Chunk, Red Velvet, Apple Crumb, Peach....
Oh! and Cheesecake!"

"Thats great I-"

"And we have pies! And those are Apple, Blueberry, Cherry and Lemon Meringue.

Then we have Cookies which are Oatmeal Raisin, White Chocolate Macadamia, Fudge Chip,
Snickerdoodle, Chocolate Top Cookies, Rainbow Cookies, Almond Crescent Cookies,
Chocolate Chip, Fudge Brownies, Coconut Macaroons, Vanilla, Chocolate, Chocolate-Dipped

Vanilla, And Chocolate-Dipped Chocolate!"

Babytooth stared at the Huge mass of food in front of her. "wow....W-well it seems you have the whole food thing under control so I'll be going..."

The girls face turned sad. "Don't you wanna stay for lunch?"
Babytooth sighed. "We just have a lot to do..."
Rapunzel's light green eyes were big and sad.

Babytooth groaned. "Ohhhhh fine."

"Yay!!!!!" Rapunzel jumped and hugged her tightly.

Babytooth groaned and rubbed her stomach. "I ate way too much. Whats next?"
"There's a girl named Merida who's taking care of the archery to start the festival."

"I wonder where she-WAHHH!!!" Babytooth screamed and ducked when an arrow went whizzing by
her head.

"Whoopsiey, Sorry 'bout that."

Babytooth sighed as Toothless helped her up off the ground. They were met with the sight of a girl walk towards them, holding a bow and had the most unruly red hair either Babytooth or Toothless had ever seen. She was dressed in a green tunic, along with brown pants tucked into darker brown boots.

"Some 'O the new shooter aint as sharp as 'ae should be." Babytooth winced at the strong
Scottish accent coming off the girl.
"Names Merida, sorry 'bout someone almost taking ye' out." She offered a strong hand, which Babytooth gently took.
"T-thank you. My name is Princess Babytooth, but JUST Babytooth would be fine."
Merida giggled loudly.
"What is it?"
"Ta' Arrow musta' grazed ya' hair a bit lassy."
Babytooth blinked, running a hand through her hair. "what do you-" She turned and looked at herself in a nearby pond.
'Grazed' Indeed! Her hair was a mess! It had been puffed and blown around by the speed of
the arrow and look ridiculous!
"Oh wonderful" She groaned. Merida chuckled lightly. "I should have em' shooting right by
the ceremony."
"thank you."
"Sure! I'd love to hang out more!"
"uhh"
Babytooth watched her leave. "Seems rather dedicated." Toothless pointed out. "Good, means we have nothing to worry about here." Babytooth sighed.
Toothless messed with her hair and snorted. she glared at him and walked away.

"oh come on! Its kinda pretty when you get used to it!"

"Next up, Decorations!"

Babytooth smiled, eyeing the Great Hall. It had been done-up wonderfully! It looked stunning.

"It seems to be going very well! Good, something else we don't have to worry about!"

"woah" Toothless gasped.

" 'woah' is right. It looks great in here!"

"No, not that! her" He pointed to the main stage in awe. Babytooth had to agree.

There, on the stage working on finishing off the decore, stood the most beautiful girl she'd ever seen. She had long blond hair, pulled back into a slick braid, her bangs covering one eye. She was dressed in a Black sweater with a skull on it and a gray skirt, topped off with some high-heel army boots, and a matching head band. She was tossing ribbons, looking through a basket of them.

"excuse me Miss? My name is-"

"Just a moment please! not that one, no, no, oh Thor no, Yes! This should be perfect!" She
pulled out a sparkling blue ribbon and finished off a curtain with it.
She smiled at her work, seeming pleased with herself. She then turned to face Babytooth and Toothless.
"Now then, what was it-Oh, God!" She stared wide-eyed at Babytooth for a moment.
"what in THOR'S NAME Happen to your Hair!?"
Babytooth blinked. "Oh, its a long story, I'm just here to check up on things and I'll be
out of your hair!"
"But what about YOUR hair? I can't leave it like that! Come with me!" She grabbed Babytooth with an ungodly strong grip and pulled her off.

"w-wah! Wait! Hey!! Toothless! Help!"

Toothless laughed and followed behind.

"Now, Isn't that better?"

Babytooth had been dragged to what seemed to be some kind of fashion shop, where she was sat in a barber's chair and forced to let this girl mess with her hair.

But she had to admit, her hair had never looked this nice. due to the arrow from before,
part of her hair had been cut, so the girl, who's name she had learned to be Astrid, had
trimmed Babytooth's hair to be even. She had done a few things too it, most of which
Babytooth had no idea to describe, but the end result was quit amazing.

"I-It looks great! I'm amazed!"
Astrid nodded. "Yes yes, you're welcome." She looked Babytooth up and down. "you know, you
should really try out some Gothic styles! You're body type would fit it rather well!"

"Oh, No! No thank you! I'll be fine."

"are you sure? I have lots of things for to try, Oh! How about some punk! Your hair would

suit it well! Or maybe-"

Babytooth and Toothless managed to slip out the door while the girl was talking.


"Geez, the people here are weird." Toothless laughed. "But kinda funny, I like em!"
Babytooth rolled her eyes. "whatever, whats the last thing on the list?"

"Music!"

at that moment the sweet sound of birds singing filled this air. It was a wonderful sound,

and obviously coordinated.

They followed the sound to a small clearing with an old tree on the middle, its branches
lined with birds of all kinds.
In front of the tree stood a young Boy, maybe a few years older than Babytooth herself. He
had strawberry-brown hair that brushed the back of his neck and bright (and she meant BRIGHT) Green eyes. He was dressed in a light green sweater, the hood and sleeves lined with brown fur, and light brown skinny jeans, finished with brown fur boots- er, boot. His left foot, from about the calf down, was gone, replaced with a Metal prosthetic.

"Um, every, please stop for a moment." He asked gently. The birds brought their song to a
halt, and the boy walked to a blue bird on the far right side.
"You're being just a little fast, try slowing down a bit, if thats okay?" He asked kindly.
The bird chirped a happy response and the boy petted it lightly before returned to his spot.

"Alright, One more time. One two three-"

"Hello!!"

"WAHHHHHHHHH!!!!"

The boy screamed and jumped nearly a foot in the air.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you!" Babytooth said quickly.
"I'm Just here to check up on the music, and it's sounding lovely!"

The boy stared at her for a moment. His eyes went to the ground, every once in a while
glancing up at her. He kicked the dirt softly, rubbing his arm.

Babytooth bit her lip. "Uh, My names Babytooth!"

"..."

She was getting worried, was he mute or something?

"What yours?"

"_H-hiccup" came the tiny responce.
Babytooth moved a little closer. "I'm sorry, what was that?"
"_{M-my n-name is Hiccup}"

"Still didn't catch that!"

"...*Whimper*"

....

"W-well, it looks like everything is going great! So, I'll just, leave you to your work
then!"

The boy nodded slowly.

Babytooth sighed, and turned back to Toothless. "Well, that easy at least." Toothless
laughed slightly.

The boy's eyes widened. "oh my-A NIGHT FURY!!!"
Babytooth yelped as she was bowled over when the boy ran at full speed to Toothless.
"I've never seen one up close before!!! I've only seen pictures!! Its amazing!! And a young one too!!"
Toothless blinked, not knowing how to react to this. "um, Hi?"
"Oh dear Thor, It can talk too!! Thats so, so, Oh i don't even know what to say!"

Babytooth grabbed Toothless and started dragging him with her. "well then, we'd better get
going!"

The brunette ran and started walking with them. "Oh wait! What's his name?"
Toothless smiled proudly. "I'm Toothless!"
"Hi Toothless! I'm Hiccup! Wow, A taking dragon! A night Fury No less! This is amazing!
What, what do I even ask you about?"

"Well, What do you wanna know?"

Hiccup's eyes sparkled. "Tell me EVERYTHING!"

Babytooth groaned.

"...And thats the story of my entire life!" Toothless finished as the trio arrived at the
Libary.

"Well, Up until today anyway, Do you wanna hear about today?" Toothless asked.
"Oh yes please!" Hiccup nodded.

Babytooth spun around. "Oh gee, how DOES the time fly? Is where we happen to stay, and

Toothless really needs his sleep, so, I'll just go put him to bed and-"
"Oh! I can do that for you!" Hiccup said quickly.
He pulled Toothless inside, who was holding back laughter.
Babytooth hissed and followed after the two.

"Look, this is really nice of you and all, but I REALLY have some studying to do, and I
can't do it with someone here, trying to be all friendly! Now, where is the light...?"

The Lights suddenly clicked on. Babytooth was met with a huge group of people crammed into

her new house, baloons and confetti everywhere.

"SURPRISEEEEEEE!!"
She jumped when a boy pop'd up in front of her. It was the same one with white hair from
before, and he began talking a mile a minute.

"Hiya!! Names Jack, Jack frost! I saw you show up today and was like *GASSSSSP* remember
remember??? but then I was like, *GASP* Because I had never seen you before! and I had never seen you before that means you're new and if you're new you HAVE to have a welcome party!! and you looked so gloomy, so I threw a party for you! do you like? I love partys! almost as much as snow! I can throw some pretty awesome snowball fights, i'll have to show you when winter comes!! Do you like snowball fights? I love them! So much! OHHHH and-uh hey?"

Babytooth covered her ears and ran up the stairs, closing the bedroom door behind her.

"Gee, she must be so overwhelmed with joy she couldn't take it!"

The rest of the group joined Jack in staring up the stairs.
"She seems so lonely." Rapunzel mumbled sadly.
"But Very unwilling to make friends." Merida mumbled.
"Her hair is holding up nicly though!" Astrid said happily.
"She just needs to lighten up!" Jack said flatly, wrapping an arm around Hiccup's shoulders,

who squeaked a little when he did.

"I'm SURE we can bring her around!"
