Hijack Kids: For A Moment Pt1

She hated herself.


The young girl yanked her dress off the moment she reached her room, tossing it over a chair.
She pulled herself into her favorite Pink top and brown pants, hoping it would help her mood.

it didn't.

She sniffed, falling onto her bed, letting tears spill over her blue eyes. She yanked the fancy braid from her brown hair, tossing the ribbon away.


"....Autumn?"


Autumn whimpered, leaning over the side of her bed, ignoring the voice. Instead she reached down to her bag, pulling the small necklace she had found out from it, hugging it close.
She didn't know why, but it felt nice to hold it....


"Autumn, sweety....."

A young male figure walked toward her, taking a seat on the side of the bed next to her.
Jack sighed, running a hand through his white locks. He hated seeing his daughter like this....
he brushed a hand across her pale, freckled face, wiping tears away.

"Whats wrong with me?"
Autumn sniffed, looking at him.

"there's nothing wrong with you!" Jack brushed her hair gently, sighing.

"being a teenager is hard, a-and uh" crap he didn't know how to do this. "A-all kids your age, feel awkward and...."

Autumn ignored him, making a face as she brushed snow off the necklace.
A set of golden letter sparkled under it, carved into a snowflake, it was cold, like it was real....

"What is this? it has my name on it..."

Jack blinked, leaning over
"What-"

Autumn pulled, the snowflake popping opening, a bright shining lighting coming out.
her eyes widened.
"That song....I know it....."

Jack stared in shock.
where did she...?

"Look! its the Northern lights! And all those figures.....Santa, the Easter bunny, The Toothfairy! But Daddy, you told me none of them where real, why-"

Jack grabbed the frozen locket, closing it fast, the light vanishing.
He stood, holding it tight and snapping around to look down at his Daughter.

"Where did you get this?" his voice shook slightly.

"I.....I found it..." Autumn mumbled, looking away.

"...you went over the wall didn't you?"

"Actually...I went under it" Autumn pouted
"I hate that stupid wall! I like being out in the snow and it blocks it off!"

Jack's anger took over him.
"I told you NOT to go out there!! You know your not aloud out in the Snow!"

"But why??" Autumn stood, glaring slightly.
"And why does that necklace have MY name on it?"

Jack sighed, "Autumn, listen to me-"

"your hiding something from me." It was a statement, not a question.

Jack's eyes widened.
"I....y-y-you  deliberately disobeyed me! I never want you going out there again! Its Dangerous in the snow!"

Autumn's tears returned, anger coming to her face.

"How'd YOU know!?!" She yelled, snatching the locker from his hands
"YOU'VE NEVER EVEN BEEN IN IT!"

"Autumn, wait!"

The young girl took off, pushing past Hiccup as he walked into the room.
"Autumn..?" he breathed, watching his daughter run in tears.

Hiccup turned, seeing Jack standing in shock.

He walked to him quickly, hugging.
Jack sighed, hugging Hiccup back, resting his face in soft brown locks.

"this is all my fault....."
